It was so wonderful to be home for Christmas! We feel so lucky that our families live close enough to each other that we can see them both with one trip! We are very grateful to our parents who were willing to let us borrow cars and chauffer our family around so we could see everyone! Jacey loved playing with all of her cousins! We missed Brianne, Alyssa, Sarai, Ryker, and Conner, but we were glad everyone else could come! We were excited to see Kayleigh and Colby for their first trip ever to Grandma and Grandpa Johnston’s house. Jacey especially loved building a snowman with them in the surprise snowfall they got for Christmas! Broden liked the excitement as well, but sometimes got overwhelmed and acted pretty clingy. That’s ok. When we go home next Christmas, he’ll have the rest of his life to get used to it! It’s hard to believe that this was our last Christmas that we would have to go on vacation. Santa and grandparents spoiled us as usual, and while we were trying to pack our suitcases in between trips to the post office to send boxes home, we were grateful we’d never have to do that again! We felt very loved, and are so grateful for family to come home to!
