Pregnant and waiting....just a few weeks to go!

I have to say I am one of those wierd people who really doesn't mind being pregnant. I am now about 34 weeks. Overall I feel great, and except for the occasional discomfort that is to be expected when you gain this much weight and the little one inside of me who must think it's funny to kick, turn, twist, and pull in all directions at the most inconvenient times, it's really not so bad. My photographer friend Destiny Lesueur came over last week to take these pictures. We had lots of fun, and she did an awesome job.

Harvest Festival

One of our favorite fall activities since moving to Texas has been our annual ward chili cook-off and harvest festival. We have come to realize that people down here are serious about their chili recipes! After the dinner, some of our good friends provided live music with some other band members, and we enjoyed an evening of dancing. It is definately true that people in Texas know how to kick back and have a good time. The children especially loved it, and got very into their dancing. We learned that night that Jacey is already a popular girl at the dances, and even had an incident where 2 different kids were arguing over who got to dance with her! Overall, it was such a fun night! Our ward just split, and we belong to a different ward now, but we will always have fun memories of the Coppell 1st ward harvest festival!

Halloween 2006

This year for halloween, if you asked Jacey what she dressed up as, she would say "a real Barbie ballerina". She has no idea that Barbie exists outside of her Nutcracker and Swan Lake movies, but she was thrilled to look like her. We had lots of fun. We took her trick-or-treating to a neighborhood with several members from our ward, and she made quite a load! Earlier in the week we went to one of her good friend's costume party, and went to take the annual pumpkin patch pictures. She really got into it this year, and I'm sure we'll have many more years of princess costumes to come!
