Have you ever had a friend who goes out of their way to do as much as they possibly can for you, then when you think they can't possibly do any more they come up with something else? We're so grateful for all of our friends, but I really don't know what we would've done during our move without the Schaacks. Our lease in our apartment was up the end of November, but graduation wasn't until Dec. 13th. Not a huge deal- we were going on vacation for the 1st week of December anyways, so we figured by staying in a hotel for a week we'd still be spending less money than we would by paying rent for a whole extra month. Jon and Lisa's response to that? "Don't be silly, you're staying with us!" Nevermind the fact that Lisa was expecting a baby in January. Nevermind the fact that they had a nursery to get ready (which just happened to be the room we were staying in.) Nevermind the fact that they had a ton of family visiting for Christmas, arriving shortly after we left. Nevermind the fact that they had already hosted Dan's surprise birthday party and had us over for Thanksgiving dinner since all of our kitchen stuff was packed. They have taught us so much about service over the past 3 years, and we are so grateful to them for it! Now... on to our fun week-
We had so much fun spending one last week with them! Caleb and Jacob have been like brothers to our kids, and I knew they would miss those boys after we left. Lucky for us we had one last week filled with cookie baking, lots of playing, lots of tickles, and tons of fun! Thank you, once again Jon and Lisa for sharing your home with us!
