Fort Worth Zoo

Jacey loved the flamingos. PINK animals? It doesn't get much better than that!
Jacey got a little nervous when several of the birds in the bird building came over to eat off her seed stick all at the same time. She dropped it on the other side of the rock well, and shed a few tears when she realized it was gone. Luckily a nice lady standing next to us who was kind of scared of the birds herself stepped in and saved the day by giving Jacey her stick.

Broden could have stood in this bubble window at the aquarium all day.

It had been far too long since we took a trip to the zoo, so we were excited to be able to do that with Grandma and Grandpa Johnston. It was the perfect day! It was only 65 degrees, no rain, not too busy, the animals were out and come right up close to us. What made it even better is that Broden is old enough now to get excited about things like this. He had fun pointing and saying "Look!" every 5 minutes. It was also fun to hear Jacey talk about all of the animals, since she wasn't talking as much when we went a couple years ago.

I can't agree more with Jaycee - PINK animals are great. Looks like you guys had so much fun! I love how our babies are growing into that fun interactive age where they are so curious!

What a great day, and to spend it with Grandparent, even better. We are just waiting for the day it's nice enough to visit the zoo. Weiland can hardly stand it. Broden is so big, he's changed even from Christmas. Miss and Love you all.

Okay, so I'm so jealous that it has been so warm there and that ya'll spent a day at the zoo. It is just barely warm enough to wear short sleeves here. Man, I miss the Big-D!!!
